Ida Knoe here, and I have a question for you.

I have heard a lot of talk about all these school days kids are missing and will have to make up in the Spring. It looks like Winter hasn’t given up yet, with more snow coming up in the forecasts for next week. We aren’t out of February yet, so there may easily be more missed days…

On now to my question: Most of the schools have websites, a majority of families have internet access, or at least a phone to access the schools updates. Why, when there is bad weather and a good possibility of no school, do the kids not bring home the books, and teachers post assignments on the websites?

Most of todays students have some homework every day, so are bringing home something anyway. It just seems like a logical plan to me.
