Here is a ‘pretty good and family approved’ recipe for eggnog. It is supposed to make about 12 puch cups. I don’t know anyone with pucnh cups 😉 so you are on your own for the number of servings.

6 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 cup rum (optional) and 1 quart of light cream. I have used canned milk in place of the light cram, it works.

In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy add sugar and beat until thick and lemon colored, stir in cram and rum.

Regfrigerate at least THREE hours before serving, Garnish with or without whipped cram and a dash of nutmeg.
