These girls will eventually fill freezers for winter.
This morning, I went down to feed them breakfast. As always, I was greeted with happy squeals! The ‘ladies’ always seem pleased to see me, especially when I am armed with a large pail of soaked corn and shorts.
Somehow, during the night, they had managed to move the feed trough half way out the door of the barn. I will admit, I was not amused. Climbing in to their domain is not my idea of a ‘fun’ way to start the day!
Fortunate for me, there is a long-handled shovel in the barn, It was quite useful to manuever the feed trough back into its proper location without mishap.
